What Drives Us at Integrated Planning Group
At Integrated Planning Group, we believe every person has a Cause—something deeply personal that fuels their purpose, shapes their decisions, and guides the legacy they are building. Our integrated planning philosophy is rooted in helping clients align their financial lives with the causes that matter most to them, so their wealth becomes a tool for impact, purpose, and long-term fulfillment.
But this belief isn’t theoretical. It’s lived every day within our own team.
A Cause That Became a Calling: William P. D’Angelo
For William, co-founder and Managing Partner of Integrated Planning Group, the idea of a Cause is not abstract—it is the foundation of his life’s mission.
Following the loss of his son, Nicholas, William transformed unimaginable personal grief into a force for good. He founded the Nicholas Vincent D’Angelo Memorial Foundation, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to improving children’s health, wellness, and education. The foundation supports neonatal research and advocacy initiatives that empower families nationwide, creating the kind of legacy every parent hopes to leave for their child. This work, born from love and loss, fuels everything William does—as a father, an advisor, and a community advocate.
“Empowering even one parent or child to achieve better health, wellness, or education drives me. It guides my business decisions, centers the charitable work we do at IPG, and is simply part of who I am. Advocacy and impact aren’t extracurricular—they’re a natural extension of my time, my values, and my purpose.“ – William D’Angelo
William’s passion for community extends further through his service on the Richmond University Medical Center (RUMC) Foundation Board of Directors, the hospital where all three of his children were born. He has also served on the board for Team 94, celebrating the achievements of individuals with autism, and as Treasurer for the March of Dimes Staten Island Chapter, advocating for infant and maternal health.
These causes are not separate from his work—they are embedded in the culture and impact of Integrated Planning Group.
